General Guidelines
- Eligibility: All vehicles must be street legal, registered, and insured. No race-only vehicles are permitted. No ATV/UTV’s.
- Driver Requirements: Participants must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old. Minors must have a parent or guardian present and sign a waiver.
- Safety Gear: Helmets are recommended but optional for all drivers. Additional safety gear; long pants, shirts with sleeves (T shirts acceptable), closed-toe shoes necessary to participate for both driver and Passenger. No tank tops permitted.
- Passenger Policy: Each participating vehicle may have one passenger accompany the driver during the race. Passengers must also wear seat belts at all times.
Vehicle Specifications
- Vehicle Inspection: All vehicles must pass a safety inspection prior to the event. This includes checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels.
- Tires: All vehicles must use DOT-approved tires suitable for street use. No slicks or racing tires are allowed.
Conduct on the Track
- No Aggressive Driving: Participants should drive responsibly and avoid aggressive maneuvers. Any reckless driving may result in disqualification.
- Starting Line Procedure: Drivers must stage their vehicles properly and follow the instructions of track officials at the starting line. No burnouts permitted.
- Lane Rules: Vehicle must stay in lane until exiting the track. All windows must be closed at all times on the track.
Event Logistics
- Track Sessions: The event will consist of 1-2 Time Runs pending on time permitted.
- Timing and Scoring: Timing equipment will be used for all runs. Bracket style dial-in racing. Dial-in’s and vehicle numbers must be at least 4” displayed on the vehicle Left Side window.
Penalties
- Disqualification: Any participant who violates the rules may be disqualified from the event. No refunds will be given.
- Behavioral Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct, including excessive arguing or inappropriate behavior, will not be tolerated. Must be respectful of all Track Officials.
No Glass bottles on the property. Disorderly conduct will result in forfeiture of participation and immediate removal of property. Pit vehicles must be insured and proof of insurance is required. Homeowners insurance is not accepted, the pit vehicle must be insured and specifically listed. Pit vehicles will need to be registered at the gate for a fee, insurance can be purchased at the gate as well. Non-insured Pit Vehicles will not be permitted. Pit insurance is good for the year at all tracks using Safehold/NHRA.
